Understanding Tampa Family Health Centers' Community Impact

Tampa Family Health Centers works closely with community partners, including local government, schools, universities, faith-based organizations, social services, and many more to raise awareness, connect the population with comprehensive, integrated healthcare services and meet the diverse needs of the Hillsborough County community.

Harold Jackson has been the driving force behind Tampa Family Health Centers' community outreach efforts since joining the organization as a member of the Board of Directors in 1984. In his current role, Harold connects community partners, potential patients, and Tampa Family Health Centers, mitigating healthcare inequality. "This work gives me the opportunity to raise and maintain community awareness of the high quality of healthcare that Tampa Family Health Centers delivers to the Tampa community," says Harold.

With one Mobile Medical Unit and two Mobile Dental Units, Tampa Family Health Centers is able to provide quality, accessible care to Hillsborough County's medically underserved community.
